Both Yurts enjoy the peaceful setting of the valley floor, surrounded only by meadow and trees. They are situated around 50 metres apart, each with their own private facilities.
They are traditionally hand crafted in wood, covered in natural canvas and sit on a raised wooden platform. The spacious circular interiors are perfect for both romantic breaks or family holidays. Each yurt has a king size bed, cotton sheets, summer duvet, soft pillows and is gently lit by solar lanterns.
The crown wheel in the roof of the yurt can be left open to enjoy summer skies and fresh air or can be easily covered in the event of summer showers.
A couple of steps away is your own private indoor/outdoor shower cabin with a flushing WC, hand basin and hot water shower where you can enjoy bathing under the tree canopy.
Both yurts have a well equipped cooking area which enables you to enjoy all your catering and dining al fresco. The Coleman's extreme coolbox ensures that food can be kept fresh and that the drinks are always cold !
We have tried to keep the site eco-friendly and it is completely off-grid, with no electricity at all. As there is no light pollution, the beautiful night skies can be fully appreciated.

Our Orchards
La Pomme Perdue is a small, family run estate set in 5 hectares of natural countryside in the heart of the southwest of France.
The original farmhouse was built in 1832 but the land has remained uncultivated for many years until we started planting our first trees in the snow of february 2010. We created the first area of orchard on 2 acres of land surrounding our family home and the second area in the valley where the yurts are situated.
We have selected ancient varieties of apple which used to cover the surrounding countryside but have become increasingly rare over the years. Each variety has an important quality which, when combined together, will enable us to produce a tasty apple juice and cider in the years to come.
The eight varieties of apple we have planted are Anisa, Urtebi, Errezila , Minxuli, Mendiola, Gordin Xuri, Eri Sagarra and Ondomotxa.
