The village of Bardos is in the Pays Basque, a beautiful region in the sunny south west of France, offering a wonderful range of activities and places to visit.
Discover the region's towns and villages including the internationally renowned Biarritz which is only 20 minutes away and has sandy beaches, chic shopping and al fresco dining. Closer still is the medieval town of Bayonne, the capital of the region and famous for it's museums and restored Gothic cathedral.

Bayonne is famous for both it's ham and chocolate making tradition.

For lovers of nature and history there are 39 walks in the surrounding countryside, with 335km of marked trails for you to discover by foot or on horseback.
Activities for the more energetic visitors range from surfing and bodyboarding on the coast to cycling and mountain biking in the foothills of the Pyrenees.
